Chapter Three

Education

We believe that every Kenyan must be accorded all opportunities to pursue formal education. We are committed to the United Nations Convention that Primary Education be free and compulsory without compromising quality and facilities.

We also believe that formal education begins from nursery and pre-primary. We shall therefore undertake to employ nursery and pre-primary school teachers in all government approved nursery schools.

Most importantly, we shall review the entire education system to ensure that it responds to the needs of our country as we endeavour to find our place in the fast global socio-economic developments.

4. Balance traditional and vocational systems of education to realize rapid industrialization
