26.0 IMPLEMENTATION MODALITY

In the past Kenyans have not given sufficient attention to monitoring and evaluation of implementation of policies. The strengthening of the Policy and Strategy Committee indicates the seriousness that DP Government places in implementation of its programmes. The Policy and Strategy Committee will be provided with adequate resources not only to undertake policy analysis but also undertake implement, monitor, evaluate and undertake impact assessment in consultation with Parliamentary Sector Committees, Kenya Institute of Public Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) and the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) National Environmental Management Authority, Universities and friendly Donors. PSC will in consultation with the above-mentioned institutions undertake, where necessary.
